Meet the WLC Teachers! 

Cara Kuhl (she/her pronouns)

Cara has over 15 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings and is excited to welcome you to the Westside Learning Collective!  

She enjoys the journey of learning and exploring with others.  She loves to teach art, including drawing, watercolor painting, and origami.  She also teaches mindfulness and speaks French!  

Ellis Maxwell (they/them pronouns)

Ellis has over 5 years of teaching experience and they can't wait to meet you! Ellis is inspired by collaborative, cross-generational learning and growth. 

They have many passions, from storytelling, to music, to farming, and are thrilled to share those passions with students at Westside. They seek community with all who are striving to expand their capacities of care, creativity, and curiosity. 

Emily McCall (she/her pronouns)

Emily is mom to a 12-year-old and 9-year-old and is thrilled to be volunteering at Westside Learning Collective this year!

She has been a lawyer, photographer, and interior designer over the years, but is now most inspired by supporting young people to explore the world and learn in ways that are meaningful to them. She also loves making and seeing art, planning vacations, and watching professional cycling!
